Our parents gave us wise sayings like “cut your coat according to your cloth”, told us that “money does not fall down from trees” and taught us to be frugal and disciplined when it comes to managing money. These are important lessons that we must pass down to our children, many of whom unfortunately may have been over-indulged by parents and over-protected from the responsibility of managing money by the “new” way of doing things in our families and our schools.

This could create a challenge in future, hence our continued focus on providing resources and lessons to support our children in various life skills areas.
